The screen recorder creates a recording of what happens on the screen. To access the Screen recorder click on Multimedia resource bank and then click on the screen recorder icon. A pop-up appears with a record button.
When we click record we are given the option to save to the ‘My media bank’ folder or a folder of our choice. We'll select ‘My media bank’, name our file, and when we click OK the recording automatically starts.
We will create a mini monster on our screen from parts we have previously saved in ‘My media bank’. We've left one of the monster parts on the desktop, so we'll go and find it and drag it on screen. The recorder also captures actions made outside of Easiteach.
The screen recorder icon has been minimised to the tool tray. To stop the recording we double-click on the icon and then close the pop-up.
Our movie is ready now, so we find it in ‘My media bank’, drag it onto the page and click play to view.
This feature can be used to demonstrate activities to your class, or it could be used to set homework tasks.
